Which size should I order?+
The 4in and 4.5in sizes at entrances, lobbies and pedestrian frontages, where the bollard should protect without dominating the approach. The 6in and 6.6in sizes where the vehicles are larger. Go to 48in tall where the post has to be seen from a truck cab rather than a car. If you are unsure, send a photo of the location and we will specify it.
Stainless or painted steel?+
Stainless where customers see it and where you do not want to repaint. Painted yellow steel where being seen matters more than the finish: a warehouse aisle or a dock apron. Stainless costs more up front and saves the annual repaint.
Which band colour should I choose?+
The round range comes with a red, yellow or black band and the flat tops carry green. Yellow reads as hazard and suits service areas; black is the quietest against a stainless post and suits a design-led frontage; red sits between the two. Tell us the site standard you are working to and we will match it.
Will it stop a truck?+
Be careful with this question. These are protective and deterrent bollards for the applications described here. They are not crash-rated. If your project requires certified anti-ram performance to ASTM F2656 or IWA 14-1, we will say so and refer you to a rated manufacturer.
